Your Peace of Mind Starts Here: Our Service Terms & Conditions
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC: Comprehensive Terms & Conditions
Updated: 6/23/2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By requesting, booking, or receiving any service provided by Spot Services Pure Wash LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms outlined in this agreement. These terms are referenced in every job we perform and constitute a binding contract.
These Terms & Conditions apply to every service performed by Spot Services Pure Wash LLC, whether or not the Client has signed a physical or digital copy. The Client acknowledges that by requesting, scheduling, or accepting service, whether verbally, electronically, or in writing, they agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. This includes services booked via phone, text, email, website form, or third-party platforms.
The Terms & Conditions are permanently available at www.spotpurewash.com/termsandconditions, and are referenced on every estimate, invoice, and communication. The Client’s decision to proceed with the service constitutes acceptance of these terms, and no further signature or physical agreement is required for enforceability.
2. Legal Eligibility
Client affirms they are at least 18 years of age, are of sound mind, and possess the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. The Client further affirms that they are the legal owner, tenant, or authorized agent of the property where services are to be performed, and are fully authorized to initiate, approve, and pay for the services described. By entering into this agreement, the Client confirms they are not under any legal disability or restriction that would affect their ability to understand and accept these terms.
3. Description of Services
3.1 Window Cleaning (Interior and Exterior)
This service includes the cleaning of glass surfaces, removal of smudges, dirt, and light debris. Interior services may include window sills and screens upon request. We take precautions to protect interior flooring and furnishings, but the Client should move delicate or valuable items in advance. Exterior cleaning may require ladder work, and we are not liable for pre-existing cracks or seal failures.
While our estimate attempts to accurately reflect the anticipated scope of work, if our technicians encounter conditions beyond what was originally quoted, such as windows with extremely dirty window sills that require vacuuming, degreasing, or rinsing, we reserve the right to increase the price at our sole discretion without providing prior notice. By agreeing to receive our service, the Client agrees to accept any such adjustments made in the final invoice.
Our pricing does not include the time or labor required to open windows that are stuck, painted shut, or screwed closed. Any effort to open such windows will be at our discretion and may incur additional charges if pursued.
We are not responsible for any of the following:
• Flaking paint, deteriorated window sashes, or broken/malfunctioning window locks
• Poorly mounted curtain rods, blinds, or drapery hardware
• Any damage to or handling of decorative items, keepsakes, or other objects mounted on, near, or around windows that impede access
• Moving furniture, beds, dressers, shelving, tools, bicycles, or other personal items to access windows
Clients are expected to provide full and unobstructed access to all windows that are scheduled for cleaning. If access is not available, the affected window(s) may be skipped without refund or price adjustment.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, this service does not include removal of:
• Glue, paint, or construction adhesives
• Heavy water spotting or mineral deposits
• Post-construction debris such as silicone, caulk, stucco, or mortar
If any cleaning requires the use of razor blades, scrapers, or other abrasive tools, a separate written and signed waiver must be completed by the Client acknowledging the risk and releasing Spot Services Pure Wash LLC from any liability for scratched, tempered, or otherwise compromised glass surfaces. Without this waiver, razor blades will not be used under any circumstances. Additionally, if a razor blade is required on-site due to unexpected buildup or contamination, and no waiver has been signed, the debris will be left in place without a reduction in service charge.
3.2 Low-Pressure House Washing (Soft Washing)
A non-invasive method using eco-friendly detergents and low pressure to clean siding, soffits, fascia, and trim. This process removes algae, mildew, dirt, spider webs, and oxidation streaks. While low pressure reduces surface risk, we are not liable for deteriorating vinyl, improperly sealed wood, or painted surfaces that may flake or peel due to age or previous poor maintenance.
Clients must ensure that all exterior electrical outlets, light fixtures, security systems, outdoor TVs, cameras, electrical boxes, and any exposed wiring or electronics are properly sealed, covered, or waterproofed prior to service. We are not liable for any electrical issues, malfunctions, or damage resulting from water exposure to improperly protected devices or fixtures. We reserve the right to skip any area or item we deem high-risk or unsafe to clean, even if this decision is made on-site during service execution.
Reactive Paint Disclaimer
Certain exterior paints, particularly those manufactured with organic-based pigments, are chemically incompatible with sodium hypochlorite (bleach), which is the industry-standard cleaning agent used in soft washing and house washing applications. This incompatibility became a recognized issue across the exterior cleaning industry several years ago and was the subject of multiple lawsuits against paint manufacturers. While most major paint brands have since reformulated their products, doors and surfaces painted with older or specialty formulations may still contain reactive pigments. There is no reliable method to identify reactive paint prior to treatment based on visual inspection alone. As a result, Spot Services Pure Wash LLC cannot be held responsible for spotting, discoloration, bleaching, or any other surface change that results from a chemical reaction between our cleaning solutions and paint containing reactive pigments. By scheduling service, the Client accepts this inherent risk. Clients with concerns about paint sensitivity are encouraged to notify us in advance so that we may take precautionary measures where possible, such as pre-wetting the surface or adjusting dilution ratios. This disclaimer applies to all painted surfaces including but not limited to front doors, garage doors, shutters, decorative trim, and any other exterior painted feature.
3.3 Roof Cleaning (Non-Pressure Methods)
We use a gentle soft wash method with specialized cleaning solutions designed to kill moss, algae, and lichen on roofs. No high pressure is used. Roofs older than 10 years, or those with visible deterioration, may be more susceptible to granule loss or damage unrelated to our cleaning. Client accepts all risks associated with pre-existing roof wear.
It is important to note that we do not, will not, and shall not be expected to physically remove moss, lichen, or algae during the service. These organisms die upon treatment and will naturally weather away over time with exposure to rain, wind, and sunlight. Immediate removal may damage roofing materials and will not be performed. The Client agrees to allow sufficient time for natural shedding to occur.
Even though moss, lichen, and algae may still be visibly present immediately after treatment, payment is still expected in full at the time of service. The presence of dead organic growth does not indicate incomplete work, as removal is not part of the treatment process and occurs gradually over time.
3.4 Gutter Cleaning
Gutter cleaning is performed at our discretion using tools and techniques most appropriate to the situation. At no point in time will we be mandated to climb a ladder and visually inspect inside the gutters unless we choose to do so.
We do not remove gutter guards that are mounted into the roof structure or shingles under any circumstances. Our pricing does not include the removal of any type of gutter guard. If we determine during service that any gutter guards must be removed to complete the job, removal will be billed at our discretion without a prior estimate and added to the final invoice. This fee is non-negotiable and based on time and complexity as assessed on-site.
We do not repair or reseal gutters. If downspouts are buried or connected to underground drainage, we will only inspect up to the point of visibility. The Client accepts responsibility for damage caused by hidden clogs or defective gutter systems.
Our standard pricing does not include bagging, collection, or removal of gutter debris. Debris is gently blended into the surrounding landscape unless otherwise agreed in writing. If the Client requests bagging, containment, or disposal of gutter debris, that service will be billed separately at an hourly rate at our discretion and without a formal estimate. Charges for this service will be added to the final invoice.
Clog Removal & Downspout Disclaimer: Our standard gutter cleaning service is designed to remove substantially all clogs and blockages resulting from normally occurring organic debris, including leaves, twigs, dirt, and similar materials. However, in the event that a clog or obstruction persists after our technicians have completed the cleaning process using standard procedures and professional-grade equipment, Spot Services Pure Wash LLC shall not be held responsible for the disassembly, removal, or modification of any gutter section, downspout, elbow, or related component.
If disassembly of any gutter or downspout component is determined to be necessary to resolve a persistent clog, our technician will inform the Client on-site and provide a reasonable estimate of the anticipated additional charge prior to commencing any disassembly work. The Client must provide explicit authorization, either verbally or in writing, before any disassembly work is performed. Verbal authorization provided on-site shall be deemed binding and equivalent to written consent.
Disassembly shall constitute a separate service and will incur an additional charge, with a minimum fee of no less than $45.00 per instance. The final amount may vary from the on-site estimate. By authorizing disassembly, the Client acknowledges that older, corroded, or deteriorated components may not be fully restored to their original condition upon reassembly. Spot Services Pure Wash LLC shall not be held liable for any components that cannot be properly reassembled due to age, corrosion, wear, or pre-existing structural deficiencies.
3.5 Pressure Washing (Driveways, Patios, Walkways, Decks, and Fences)
This service uses high pressure or surface cleaning machines to remove mold, algae, tire marks, and grime from hard surfaces. While results are significant, some stains like rust, oil, or leaf imprints may be permanent. We are not responsible for loosening aggregate, joint sand erosion, cracked concrete, or worn deck sealants.
Freezing Temperatures Disclaimer: Pressure washing services performed during or near freezing temperatures carry inherent risks. We are not responsible for any damage, hazards, or environmental conditions, including ice formation, that may result from cold weather during or after our services.
Slippery Surface & Safety Disclaimer: Cleaning solutions, detergents, and rinse water used during pressure washing services can create temporary slippery surfaces during and after service. Clients, pets, and other occupants must avoid walking or driving over freshly cleaned or treated areas until the surface has fully dried. We are not responsible for slips, falls, injuries, or stains resulting from premature access to these areas.
3.6 Skylight Cleaning
Skylight cleaning involves cleaning glass panels located on the roof or upper structures of the home. Due to the elevated and often steep location of skylights, special equipment and safety procedures are required. Cleaning will focus on the removal of dirt, pollen, and light organic buildup.
Unless otherwise specified, skylight cleaning does not include removal of paint, adhesive residue, post-construction materials, hard water stains, or etching. We do clean the interior of skylights, provided that the Client moves or removes any objects necessary to safely and efficiently access the area. If any cleaning requires the use of razors, scrapers, or abrasives, a separate written and signed waiver must be completed by the Client.
The Client accepts full responsibility for any damage resulting from factory-applied coatings or tempered/laminated glass conditions. If our technicians determine on-site that skylights are inaccessible or unsafe to reach due to roof pitch, height, weather, or other safety concerns, we reserve the right to refuse service for those skylights without penalty.
3.7 Dock Cleaning
Dock cleaning involves the use of water and manual agitation to clean wooden, composite, or concrete docks, boat slips, or similar structures. Due to the environmental sensitivity of waterways, we follow EPA Clean Water Act guidelines and do not apply soaps, detergents, or chemical cleaning agents on or near any open water. This includes lakes, rivers, canals, ponds, bays, and marinas, as well as areas with storm drains leading directly to waterways.
The Client acknowledges that cleaning results may be limited due to our strict no-soap policy for dock areas. By hiring Spot Services Pure Wash LLC to clean dock structures, the Client agrees that no soap or chemicals will be used near water regardless of staining or buildup, and that the Client will not request or pressure our technicians to use chemicals in prohibited areas.
3.8 Solar Panel Cleaning
Solar panel cleaning involves the removal of dirt, pollen, bird droppings, leaf debris, and other surface contaminants from photovoltaic (solar) panels using low-pressure water and soft cleaning tools. No abrasive materials, high-pressure equipment, or harsh chemical agents will be used on solar panel surfaces.
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC is not responsible for any reduction in panel efficiency, electrical issues, inverter malfunctions, or system errors that may occur before, during, or after the cleaning process. Our service does not include inspection, repair, or maintenance of any electrical components, wiring, inverters, or mounting hardware.
The Client represents and warrants that the solar panel system is properly installed, in good working condition, and that cleaning will not void any manufacturer warranty.
3.9 Services Not Explicitly Listed
For services not explicitly described in Sections 3.1 through 3.8, such as screen cleaning, shutter cleaning, light fixture rinsing, porch furniture rinsing, or similar add-on or bundled tasks, these shall be considered supplementary and are subject to the same disclaimers, limitations of liability, and pricing terms outlined in this agreement.
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC makes no guarantees regarding the outcome, quality, or thoroughness of services not itemized, and reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any such task at any time.
General Chemical & Equipment Disclaimer
Our services involve the use of professional-grade detergents, cleaning agents, and pressurized water equipment that may present risks to people, pets, and property. Some cleaning solutions can cause irritation or harm if contacted by sensitive tissue. We take every precaution to apply these solutions safely and within manufacturer guidelines, but the Client is responsible for keeping all pets and people clear of the work zone during and immediately after service until surfaces are fully rinsed and dry.
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC is not responsible for any injury or chemical exposure suffered by the Client, occupants, pets, or guests due to their presence in the immediate work zone. This includes accidental overspray, runoff, or wind-driven mist.
Our work zones often involve extended hose runs which may cross sidewalks, driveways, and landscaped areas. Hoses present tripping hazards. We are not responsible for any injuries caused by slips, trips, or falls resulting from hoses, wet surfaces, or treated areas.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due on the day of service. No exceptions unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Accepted Payment Methods:
• Card (via secure online invoice, preferred)
• ACH bank transfer
• Check (must be left in a discreet, prearranged location if you are not present during the service)
• Cash (only if agreed upon in advance)
Customers may store a card on file for automatic same-day payment. It is not our standard practice to accept card payments in person or over the phone, though we may do so at our discretion.
We are not responsible for any check or cash that is lost, stolen, or misplaced.
Late Fees & Legal Action:
• A 5% fee will be added to any unpaid balance 15 days after the service date
• If payment is still not received by 30 days of the service date, legal action may be initiated without further notice
• The customer is responsible for all costs associated with legal proceedings or collections
• Failure to pay may be pursued as theft of services under Maryland law, where applicable
5. Scheduling & Weather
All service appointments are scheduled based on availability and weather conditions.
Weather, safety, or equipment conditions may require rescheduling. We reserve the right to change the service date due to rain, lightning, wind, freezing temperatures, or similar hazards.
Just because it is raining does not automatically mean the appointment will be canceled or rescheduled. Appointments will be canceled at our discretion based on service type and safety.
Exact appointment times are not guaranteed unless written confirmation is provided. We typically operate within a standard 3-hour arrival window for all services.
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC is not responsible for any hardship, inconvenience, or financial loss due to schedule changes, delays, or cancellations.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Schedule Changes
Once a service appointment is placed on our schedule, that date and time slot is reserved exclusively for the Client. Because we decline other work to hold that slot, any change made on short notice creates a direct financial hardship for the Company, regardless of whether the Client describes it as a cancellation, reschedule, postponement, or change of date.
Any cancellation, reschedule, postponement, or other removal of a confirmed appointment from our schedule must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Any such change made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment, including same-day changes, will incur a charge equal to $165 or 40% of the total quoted price for the scheduled service, whichever is greater. This charge applies equally to cancellations and reschedules; the Company does not distinguish between the two for purposes of this fee.
This fee also applies if no one is home, access is denied, or the property is not ready for service on the scheduled date.
Weather-related change requests are handled at the Company’s sole discretion. If a Client requests a cancellation or reschedule due to weather, the Company will evaluate the request based on its professional judgment, knowledge of current and forecasted conditions, and the requirements of the scheduled work. The Company may, at its discretion, approve the request and waive the fee, or deny the request if it determines that weather does not prevent safe and effective completion of the service. A weather-based request that is denied remains subject to the cancellation charge described above if the Client still elects to cancel or reschedule.
Where more than one fee under this Agreement would otherwise apply to the same single appointment that is cancelled, rescheduled, or not serviced, including the cancellation charge in this Section and the water spigot reschedule fee in Section 7, only the single greatest applicable fee will be charged. These fees do not stack or accumulate against one another for the same appointment.
The parties agree this charge is a reasonable estimate of the Company’s loss from a reserved time slot that cannot be refilled on short notice, and is not a penalty.
7. Access, Utilities & Pets
The Client must ensure safe, sanitary, and accessible conditions, including:
• Access to all service areas including full physical access to the property and working space around the home
• We are not responsible for any damage to landscaping, plants, turf, garden décor, or mulch that occurs during normal and necessary movement of hoses or equipment
• The property must be free of hazardous or unsanitary conditions, including excessive animal waste, rodent infestations, or other biological hazards
• MANDATORY WATER REQUIREMENT: A functioning, operating outdoor water spigot with adequate pressure is a mandatory prerequisite for all service appointments. Without an operating water connection on the property, our technicians cannot perform services safely or effectively.
• WATER SPIGOT RESCHEDULE FEE: If a Client schedules an appointment and our technicians arrive to discover that the property does not have a functioning water spigot or that the water connection is not operational, the appointment will be rescheduled without penalty to the Client for the reschedule itself. However, a $75 reschedule fee will be assessed for this circumstance. This fee applies regardless of the reason for the non-functioning water spigot (maintenance issues, frozen pipes, broken valve, etc.). Clients are strongly encouraged to verify that a working water connection is available prior to booking an appointment to avoid this fee.
• WATER USAGE & COSTS: Spot Services Pure Wash LLC is not responsible for or expected to supply water from our own sources or water truck services. The Client agrees that we will utilize the water available on the property for all cleaning purposes. There are no discounts, refunds, price reductions, or adjustments offered for the use of water from the Client’s property. Water usage is included in the service pricing and is the Client’s responsibility to provide. We will not be expected to supply all of our own water under any circumstances.
• Electrical outlets (if required for equipment operation)
• All pets must be secured safely indoors for the duration of the service
We are not responsible for delays or inability to complete the service due to inaccessible conditions.
8. Surface & Property Risks: Limitation of Liability
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from the services provided or from any failure to perform services as agreed, regardless of the cause or circumstance, unless gross negligence or willful misconduct can be clearly demonstrated.
Client agrees to assume full responsibility and risk for all damage, wear, discoloration, breakage, or failures that occur as a result of pre-existing conditions, use of pressurized water, cleaning agents, or necessary equipment operation on the property. This includes but is not limited to:
• Aging, brittle, oxidized, or sun-damaged surfaces; peeling paint, rusted metals, untreated wood, or failing coatings
• Cracked, compromised, or leaking seals, caulk, or flashing
• Malfunctioning or improperly installed gutters, downspouts, windows, doors, vents, light fixtures, or electronics
• Loosened stones, pavers, bricks, mortar, or aggregate
• Deteriorating stucco, siding, shingles, or flashing
• Pre-existing damage to landscaping, fencing, decks, or walkways
• Any damage that occurs when equipment, hoses, or technicians traverse the property in a reasonable manner to perform the agreed-upon service
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC’s total liability under this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the services rendered.
9. Complaints, Callbacks & Service Disputes
If a client believes that damage has occurred as a result of our service, they must notify Spot Services Pure Wash LLC in writing within 72 hours of service completion. This notice must include a detailed description of the concern and photographic evidence of the alleged damage, if available.
The Client agrees to allow us the opportunity to inspect the alleged damage in person before any repairs, replacements, or third-party evaluations are made. We reserve the right to investigate and address any complaints internally before the Client takes further action. If the Client refuses to grant us this opportunity, any claim for compensation or liability may be considered null and void.
We do not issue partial or full refunds for services performed as outlined in the agreement. Disputes over payment or perceived service quality do not release the Client from their obligation to pay in full. Failure to pay due to a complaint without documented fault on our part will be treated as a breach of contract and may result in immediate collection or legal action.
10. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
The Client must initiate any claim, complaint, or arbitration request within 10 days of the completion of the service in question. Failure to do so constitutes a waiver of all claims.
If a resolution cannot be reached after a good faith attempt, both parties agree to enter into binding arbitration before pursuing any formal litigation. The arbitration shall take place in the State of Maryland and be conducted by a neutral third-party arbitrator in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association or similar recognized body.
If Spot Services Pure Wash LLC is deemed the prevailing party in any arbitration or legal action, we shall be entitled to recover all associated costs, including attorney’s fees, court costs, expert witness fees, and administrative expenses.
This dispute resolution clause does not limit the Company’s right to pursue small claims court actions, liens, or collections at any time.
11. Photographic Documentation
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC reserves the right to photograph or video record the property before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, training, marketing, and liability purposes. These images may be used in promotional materials unless the Client specifically requests otherwise in writing prior to service.
12. Service Frequency Changes & Transfers
If a Client is under a recurring service agreement and wishes to change service frequency or type, written notice must be provided at least 60 days in advance. The first change is processed without charge. Subsequent changes may be subject to an administrative fee.
Contracts may be transferable to new property owners only with express consent from both parties and at the Company’s discretion.
13. Force Majeure
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC shall not be held liable for any delay, rescheduling, cancellation, or failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if such delay or failure is caused by events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include severe weather, storms, flooding, freezing temperatures, hurricanes, mechanical breakdowns, acts of war, terrorism, pandemics, labor disputes, governmental mandates, supply chain disruptions, or any other unforeseeable event.
In any such case, Spot Services Pure Wash LLC will make reasonable efforts to resume services at the earliest practical opportunity, but shall not be obligated to issue refunds, discounts, or penalties due to delays or service interruptions caused by such force majeure events.
14. Termination of Agreement
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC reserves the right to terminate any agreement or decline service at any time for any reason, including but not limited to unsafe conditions, hostile behavior, repeated missed appointments, or non-payment. The Client may terminate a recurring service agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Prepaid services that have not yet been performed may be refundable at the Company’s sole discretion, less any administrative or scheduling costs already incurred.
15. Indemnification
The Client agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Spot Services Pure Wash LLC, its owners, employees, subcontractors, contractors, agents, affiliates, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, injuries, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, expenses, and costs of any kind, whether known or unknown, direct or indirect, arising out of or related to services performed on the Client’s property; the condition or safety of the Client’s premises; the presence or conduct of the Client, their pets, guests, tenants, or other individuals on the property; or the Client’s failure to follow safety guidance, secure the property, or disclose relevant risks.
This clause shall survive the termination or completion of services.
16. Use of Subcontractors and Personnel
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC may utilize both employees and independent subcontractors to perform any part of its services. Subcontractors are subject to the same expectations and performance standards as Company employees.
Clients are strictly prohibited from hiring, soliciting, or engaging directly with Company personnel for side jobs or separate agreements without the Company’s written approval.
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC assumes all contractual obligations for services performed, regardless of whether the work is completed by employees or subcontractors.
17. Privacy & Data Usage
We collect basic customer information, including name, address, phone number, and email, for the purpose of scheduling, billing, and service delivery. We may also collect and store service history, photographs, communication records, and payment details. This information is stored securely and will never be sold or shared without consent, except where required by law.
The Client acknowledges that Spot Services Pure Wash LLC may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) technology, including AI-generated voice calls and automated messaging systems, to deliver appointment reminders, service confirmations, follow-up communications, and promotional offers. By using our services, the Client agrees to these forms of communication. Clients may opt out of marketing messages at any time.
18. Modification of Terms
Spot Services Pure Wash LLC reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our official website. It is the Client’s responsibility to review the most current version of the Terms & Conditions.
By continuing to engage in our services after changes have been published, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the updated terms.
19. Governing Law
This agreement and all matters arising out of or relating to the services provided by Spot Services Pure Wash LLC shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland. Any legal action, proceeding, or dispute arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of Maryland.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable, invalid, or prohibited under applicable law by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
